About Ms. Belanger
Professional Biography
I am a 2014 graduate in music education with choral and general music certification from St. Norbert College. My teaching experience included student teaching in the Pulaski School District as well as in the choral department at Bay Port High School. I spent my first year of teaching instructing elementary general music in the Oshkosh Area School District at Franklin and Lakeside Elementary schools. I am a big believer in continuous lifelong learning and through memberships with the American Orff Schulwerk Association, and National Association for Music Education, I strive to grow professionally to ensure students have every opportunity to be exposed to unique musical experiences. I am very excited to be back in the Green Bay area, especially to be back in the Howard-Suamico School District. I am looking forward to seeing the students grow in a love and passion for music over the next year!

Personal BiographyThough I was born in Neenah, WI, I spent most of my childhood, from the age of 5 on, as a Yooper living in Escanaba, MI. Growing up, I had a passion and love for singing at an early age. Throughout my childhood, I sang in youth choirs, played piano and clarinet (as well as tenor sax one semester for Jazz band). I grew up with one brother, Nathan, and my parents Susan and Brad. At one time, I had 3 dogs, Friday (a shih tzu), Anna Bella (a Yorkie mix), and Hunter (a black lab/german shepherd mix). Nowadays, I live in Appleton with my newly adopted 5 year old black lab/german shepherd mix, Minnie! In my spare time, she and I play at the Dog Park! Outside of school, enjoy watching netflix, cooking 21 day fix approved meals, and exercising! I spend a lot of my summers at my cottage up in the U.P. with my family relaxing on the beach and going fishing!
