Week of 3/28/16-4/1/16

This week in Second Grade we are singing springtime and Easter songs! We learned a new song called "Speckled Eggs". We figured out that the beginning of our song had three quarter notes, a quarter rest and a repeat sign and we had to repeat that 3 times through. We figured out what HALF NOTES are in our song and we got to play along with our song on the colored xylophones. It was a lot of fun getting our brains going and trying to do so many skills at once, singing, playing, and adding beats!
